The objective of the course is to present the basic quantitative methods a manager may use to take decisions. The proposed approach focuses on the definition of the available data (managerial and research), objectives of the quantitative analysis, preparation of data, and analysis based on statistical techniques, in order to inform managerial decisions. 

At the end of this course, the student must be able to conceive and carry out, in a methodological way, a quantitative analysis of various types of data. In particular, the learning outcomes of the course are: 

• knowing and having used the fundamental techniques of quantitative data analysis 

• Choosing of the most relevant analysis methodology 

• Mastering all stages of the quantitative data analysis process 

• Understanding the different types and sources of data 

• Using R software to analyze data
