Hello APP1 students,
I hope that everybody is still ok snugly (?) stuck at home. This morning, once again, I invite you to keep practicing your GLT English together.
On today's menu -
1. Make a point about your coming (in April or May) oral presentations with a classmate (over the phone?), choosing a topic and starting organizing your working method (looking for information, introducing the issue, arranging a plan...) towards this 7/8 mn presentation per head.
2. (After working intensely on road transport, including your knowledge of the whole list of vocabulary in your file,)
Let's start dealing with this new transport file - Air transport
A. This morning, start by reading carefully the attached document about today's aviation industry (entitled- The Boeing accident...), take notes; then, come up with a list of the 3 main issues at stake in this industry (and comment upon them briefly, not forgetting to mention the dramatic context we are witnessing today regarding air transport across the world)
B. Get ready to describe orally your own experience of flying (including observations, special memories and anecdotes...) in a dialogue with a classmate (through Skype or over the phone).
